LVDS cables for TVs come in several types, mainly differentiated by the number of pins and the form of the connector. Here are the common types:
- 14 – pin LVDS cable: It is commonly used in some older – model or smaller – size TVs. It can transmit basic video and control signals to display images on the screen.
- 18 – pin LVDS cable: This type is more widely used. It has better signal transmission capabilities and can support higher – resolution video signals, being suitable for mid – range TVs.
- 20 – pin LVDS cable: It is often seen in high – end TVs and some large – screen TVs. It has more signal channels, which can improve the quality of video and audio signals and support advanced features such as high – speed data transmission.
- 30 – pin LVDS cable: Usually used in some special – purpose or high – performance TV display systems. It provides more signal lines for transmitting complex video, audio, and various control signals, enabling high – definition and high – frame – rate video display.
In addition, LVDS cables can also be divided into single – ended and double – ended types according to the way of signal transmission. The double – ended LVDS cable has better anti – interference ability and signal transmission quality.
