- Signal conversion: In a color LCD TV, the image signal from the motherboard is first converted by the scaling circuit into a TTL – level parallel signal. The LVDS transmitter then converts this parallel signal into a low – voltage serial differential signal, with a voltage offset of 1.2V and a data signal voltage swing of 350mV. For example, a certain pixel value of the red – base – color signal is converted into a pair of differential serial signals within the 1.2V±350mV range and sent to the LCD screen. The green – and blue – base – color signals are transmitted in the same way.

- Signal transmission and reception: The converted LVDS signal is transmitted to the LCD screen side through the LVDS ribbon cable. On the LCD panel side, the LVDS receiver decodes the serial signal back into a parallel signal. During this process, the interference signals superimposed on the transmission line are canceled by subtracting the two differential signals, and the final signal is sent to the subsequent driving circuit to control the color display of each pixel on the TV screen.
